Meet the Management Team
Chief Operating Officer
Matthew Higgins serves as Live Better Hearing’s Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and general management of the company, including oversight of the patient experience and all business operations. As one of the architects of the company’s guiding principles, Mr. Higgins seeks to ensure that Live Better Hearing continues to maintain its core purpose of enhancing the lives of its patients, employees, and the communities in which it does business. In short, he ensures the company remains focused on helping people live better lives.
Prior to joining Live Better Hearing, Mr. Higgins had over 15 years’ progressive leadership experience including sales, marketing, operations, and financial management roles. Most recently, he spent the past decade working for a global biotechnology firm, which is considered by many industry organizations to be the world’s leader in customer care.
Mr. Higgins graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern NH University, finishing at the top of his class, and has degrees in Organizational Leadership and Business Administration. Additionally, he is an MBA candidate with America’s historic College of William & Mary.
In his spare time, he has been observed spending an enormous amount of time perfecting the perfect depth and shade of facial hair, as well as admiring his extensive cufflink and sock collection.
Practice Development Manager
Nick Cushing is the Practice Development Manager for Live Better Hearing. In this role, Nick leads practice development activities to support our organizational vision and growth. His focus is on exceeding the expectations of our patients. In his free time, Nick enjoys reading, exercise, and listening to podcasts about science, philosophy and human achievement.
Patient Care Manager
Greg Maffett is the Patient Care Manager for Live Better Hearing. Greg has an extensive background in customer relations and audiology practice operations. As the Patient Care Manager, Greg is dedicated to exceeding the expectations of our patients, supporting and developing employees, and being the recognized leader in providing the very best patient experience. Encouragement, motivation, and coaching are the key components Greg relies on to meet these objectives and and be an effective leader.
In his personal life, Greg has a passion to serve his community through various platforms. He truly has a heart to help people and leave a laugh and a smile on everyone’s face.
