Meet the Team
Director of Professional Development
Jenifer Cushing, Au.D. is the professional director of Live Better Hearing and primary audiologist in the Rockville and Frederick offices location.
She graduated with a Doctorate in Clinical Audiology from the University at Buffalo and, while there, published over twenty peer reviewed scientific articles while working at the Center for Hearing and Deafness, more than any other graduating audiology clinician before her. Her expertise is in hearing diagnostics and hearing aids, and she has a unique expertise in electrophysiological measures because of her graduate research.
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Brandon Adawi is a Maryland Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser. He is an excellent provider and a true professional – genuine, personable, knowledgeable, and caring.
He knows how to provide the clinical care our patients deserve. What he enjoys most about being a provider is helping people hear better so they can live better. He is a great asset and compliment to the Live Better Hearing!
Patient Care Coordinator
Sarah Boersig is the Patient Care Coordinator at the Frederick office. She enjoys working with patients and makes sure they received the awesome service and care they deserve.
Sarah attended Frostburg State University and came to us with a professional background in customer service. She is also the Online Coordinator for A&A, in charge of updating our website and social networking accounts.
Dr. Amanda Reed
Amanda Reed is an audiology resident from Towson University. She completed her thesis titled “Simulation Techniques in Audiology Education” which was concentrated on the effectiveness of simulators to train student clinicians, specifically in the field of audiology.
Her clinical rotations include Maryland School for the Deaf, Chesapeake Ear, Nose, and Throat Physicians, and St. Agnes Hospital. Amanda’s interests include American Sign Language, diagnostic testing, and being able to work with patients of all different ages. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Stroudsburg University. While at East Stroudsburg, Amanda was a four-year member of the women’s softball team. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling to visit her friends and family.
