Meet the Team
Karlee Ertter, Au.D., Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Karlee Ertter graduated from Towson University with her Doctorate in Audiology. She completed her thesis project titled “Evaluating Quality of Life in Cochlear Implant Candidates/Recipients Using the ModNCIQ” with 4 hearing healthcare professionals to modify a questionnaire that can be used in clinical practice. She has had a variety of clinical rotations such as ENTAA Care, Lincoln Intermediate Unit in York, PA, Baltimore Veteran’s Administration, and here at Live Better Hearing where she completed her 4th-year externship. Her main interests are hearing aids and providing hearing healthcare needs to patients of all ages.
Karlee earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Sciences, and Disorders from Pennsylvania State University in 2013. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on all Penn State sports and spending time with her family and close friends.
Dr. Rebecca Book obtained her Doctorate in Audiology from Towson University. Her experience includes Johns Hopkins, Bayview and working closely with otolarygologists (ENT) physicians. Her doctoral thesis concentrated on the design of a classroom screening protocol for school age children.
Dr. Rebecca Book was raised in Essex, Maryland. She maintains her wonderful local charm while utilizing her strong expertise in digital hearing aid technology and diagnostics.
