Meet the Team
Dr. Allison Heuber,
Dr. Allison Heuber received her Doctorate in Audiology from Gallaudet University in 2019, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2015. She completed clinical rotations in a variety of settings including The Johns Hopkins Listening Center, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Potomac Audiology, and Professional Hearing Services, where she completed her 4th-year residency.
Her main interests include hearing aids, tinnitus management, aural rehabilitation, and memory/cognition. Her doctoral thesis focused on the impact of using one hearing aid and one cochlear implant on an individual’s working and short-term memory. She strives to provide evidence-based, holistic care for her patients, and aims to make them feel comfortable and understood.
Dr. Heuber holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) and is state-licensed in both Maryland and Virginia. She is bilingual and offers audiological services in English and American Sign Language. In her free time, she enjoys yoga and weightlifting, playing with her dogs and cat, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Abigail Ritinski,
Dr. Abigail Ritinski holds a B.S. from the University of Rhode Island and is currently completing her 4th year externship for Salus University with Live Better Hearing. She will graduate in 2020 with a clinical doctorate in Audiology. She is a Maryland native and has completed various clinical rotations in the DMV area. Her current audiological interests are hearing aids and balance assessments. Additionally, she strives to keep a holistic patient care approach during every appointment to ensure the best patient experience.
